    LUMILOOP LS25-EX for explosion prone areas
    Description:

    The LS25-Ex is designed so that the optically transmitted power per fiber does not exceed 150 mW.
    After the initial activation of the supply laser, the system is backed up by a fast shutdown device which responds to the loss of the connection by switching off the supply laser within one millisecond. The LS25-Ex sensor interface includes an analog-to-digital converter for measuring voltages.
    Power supply and control of the LS25 Ex sensor interface is provided by a computer interface (CI-250). Both units are connected by glass fibers (LWL). There is no electrically conductive connection between CI-250 and LS25-Ex sensor interface.
