COMPREHENSIVE ELECTRIC FIELD MEASUREMENT SYSTEM

The picture below presents the up to date available products and accessories. The minimum required system to perform an electric field measurement is to have the eoProbe sensor connected to the optoelectronic converter called eoSense Converter.
EOSENSE CONVERTER TO OPERATE THE FULL SYSTEM
The eoSense opto-electronic converter is paired with the eoProbe sensors and dedicated Kapteos software. You can also use dedicated instructions sent from your own software via the Ethernet port.
A single eoSense Converter can support up to 3 eoProbes.
The eoSense converts in real-time (100% analog conversion) the optical signal transmitted by the eoProbe into an electrical signal that can be analyzed with an instrument like an oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer or any other signal processing instrument.
It includes an antenna factor (AF) real-time treatment for measuring absolute electric fields (modulus, phase).
Each eoSense Converter is delivered with a Routine Test Report valid for 2 years.

EOPROBE TO MEASURE THE ELECTRIC FIELD
The Kapteos eoProbe measures one component of the electric field vector based on the electro-optic technology. The eoProbe Ultra-Wide Band sensor allows accurate measurements in almost any location and environment (air, liquids, gases, vacuum).
Each eoProbe is delivered with a Routine Test Report valid for 2 years. This probe must be used with the eoSense converter.

Application Note: Comparison of different E-field measurement systems
EOPOD FOR EOPROBE SENSORS
This accessory allows via its articulated arm to maintain the probe on a specific location. It is fully dielectric, hence it can be used near E-field sources.
2 versions are available:
• One for air and vacuum probes
• One for bio probes

EOLINK FIBER OPTICAL EXTENSION
The fiber optic extension is inserted between the eoSense converter and an eoProbe sensor to increase the distance up to a maximum of 100 meters. A rugged version for outdoor usage is available in standard.

EOVAC VACUUM CHAMBER FEED THROUGH FOR EOPROBES
Kapteos removable vacuum feed-through eoVacTM allows you to use air line electric (E) field probes eoProbeTM in a vacuum chamber when low to medium vacuum down to 0.5 hPa (or mbar) is sufficient.
eoVacTM presents the main following advantages:
• no additional insertion loss,
• easy to operate,
• low cost in comparison with any other vacuum optical feed-through.

Measuring E-field in harsh environment, requires understanding the signals and their interpretations.
The training covers how to TREAT the SIGNAL and how to pick-up very small signals either from a scope or from a spectrum analyzer.
