KAPTEOS EOPROBE TO MEASURE E-FIELD (EMF)
The Kapteos eoProbe measures one component of the electric field vector based on the electro-optic technology. This Ultra-Wide Band sensor allows accurate measurements in almost any location and environment (air, liquids, gases, vacuum) under harsh conditions. Each eoProbe is delivered with a Routine Test report valid for 2 years. This probe must be used with the eoSense converter.

A flexible design
The eoProbe is manufactured with 5 meters of fiber optic length. You need more distance? A fiber optic extension accessory is available up to a total of 100 meters.

Main advantages
Vector near and far E-field measurement
Thanks to its high performances, the eoProbe can measure both near and far E-field.
No impact on the measured E-field
The eoProbe construction does not include any metal parts, hence the measured electric field is not perturbated. The eoProbe measures the exact E-field.
Fully insulated probe
Without any metal elements inside the probe, eoProbe is fully insulated. It is then possible to measure E-field under very high potential (several kV).
Ultra-Wideband
Thanks to its technology based on Pockels effect, the probe can measure E-fields from 10 Hz up to 50 GHz with an excellent linearity.
High resolution and compactness
Its high compactness and sub-millimetric spatial resolution allows to measure very precisely the E-field.
Outdoor operation
Even under outdoor conditions (0 to 50°C for the probe), E-field measurement can be performed with good results.
Accessories for the eoProbe eoPod for eoProbe sensors
This accessory allows via its articulated arm to maintain the probe on a specific location. It is fully dielectric, hence it can be used near E-field sources.
2 versions are available:
• One for air and vacuum probes
• One for bio probes

EOP-SH Ring to maintain 2 or 3 probes in the same direction
The EOP-SH Ring is attached to the eoProbe to allow 3 probes to measure all 3 axis (X, Y and Z) of an electric field.
The EOP-SH Ring is clearly marked to identify the orthogonal components of the vector for the transverse probes. 2 transverse probes and 1 longitudinal probe can be used with this ring. The ring material does not perturbate the measurement.
EOP-HLD holder to maintain 2 or 3 probes at 90° to measure the 3 axis (X, Y and Z) of the electric field when using 3 longitudinal eoProbe. The holder material does not perturbate the measurement.
eoLink Fiber optic extension
The fiber optic extension is inserted between the eoSense converter and an eoProbe sensor to increase the distance up to a maximum of 100 meters. A rugged version for outdoor usage is available in standard.

eoVac – eoprobe vacuum feed-through
Kapteos removable vacuum feed-through eoVacTM allows you to use air line electric (E) field probes eoProbeTM in a vacuum chamber when low to medium vacuum down to 0.5 hPa (or mbar) is sufficient.
eoVacTM presents the main following advantages:
• no additional insertion loss,
• easy to operate,
• low cost in comparison with any other vacuum optical feed-through.
