NFPA 9730 Power Amplifier – REPLACED BY THE LFPA 9733

    Schwarzbeck NFPA 9730 Power Amplifier

The NFPA 9730 is a multi-purpose power amplifier and can be used within the frequency range from DC to 250 kHz.

Typical applications are magnetic immunity testing according to automotive standards or MIL-461F.

    · Frequency range (nominal): DC – 250 kHz

NFCN 9731 Compensation Network – REPLACED BY THE NFCN 9734

    Schwarzbeck NFCN 9731 Compensation Network

The primary function of the compensation network NFCN 9731 is to provide a serial compensation of the inductance of the HHS 5206-16. Thus the currents needed to produce the desired field strength can be archived using relatively low voltages.

The compensation capacitor of the NFCN 9731 reduces the overall impedance of the series circuit with the Helmholtz coil HHS 5206-16 at the wanted operating frequency and allows currents up to 30 Arms at a generator voltage of less than 40 Vrms.

    · Max continuous current: up to 32 Arms

    · Capacitance range: 1.5 nF – 300 µF

    · Frequency range: DC – 150 kHz

    · Integrated shunt: 1 Ohm / 800 W

    NFCN 9734 Compensation Network

    NFCN 9734 Compensation Network

The primary function of the compensation network NFCN 9734 is to provide a serial compensation of the inductance of Helmholtz coils (e.g. the HHS 5206-16). Thus the currents needed to pro-duce the desired field strength can be achieved using relatively low voltages.

An integrated shunt allows measuring the coil-current and serves as minimum load for the power amplifier.

NFCN 9732 Compensation Network (Replaced by NFCN 9734)

The compensation network NFCN 9732 85 kHz consists of a high current/ high voltage variable capacitor. The compensation capacitor reduces the total impedance of the series circuitry consisting of the Helmholtz coil HHS 5206-8 and the NFCN 9732 85 kHz at the operating frequency band of 80-90 kHz. It allows continuous currents of up to 15 Arms at generator voltages of less than 40 Vrms. Application: Immunity test induktive changing 85 kHz
